History

Freetown Jazz Academy started as a small initiative and has grown into one of Sierra Leone’s leading basketball programs, competing in Division 1, Division 2, and women’s leagues.

In October 2024, the academy hosted the first international basketball game in Sierra Leone, welcoming D-Rockas Basketball Club Girls from Liberia.
